At the end of the Queen's Undergraduate Conference on Literature, four papers will
receive conference awards. To learn more about these awards, read below.
Most Challenging to the Canon
Awarded to a paper that explores a text outside of the canon in an innovative manner, or that challenges preconceived understandings of a canonical text.
Most Well-Researched
Awarded to a paper that demonstrates a holistic understanding of a subject demonstrated by superior research that may be inter-disciplinary or draws from various areas of study in literature.
Most Innovative
Awarded to a paper that through form,
medium, research style, voice, or topic, presents
an innovative approach to literary analysis.
Most Professional
Awarded to the presentation of a paper that shows the strongest professionalization, including accessibility considerations and fluidity in answering questions.
